A</span>! Hi..frineds:
I just read the "DIY throttle reset" on the W203 forum, Don't know if this works for our W204.
Below is the steps that I copy from W203 thread:
1. Turn the ignition key to the on (not start) position.
2. Press the gas pedal to the floor and hold for five seconds.
3. Turn the key to the "off" position (don't remove the key), then release the gas pedal.
4. Wait at least two minutes for ECU to reset.
People said after these steps, the throttle response will be much better, is this true and works for our W204?
I just want to know people's opinion before I try it myself.
Please reply

B</span>.I tried this before I searched this forum, looks like a lot of people know about this reset on this forum, some people even do this reset every two weeks with their MB to make the ECU to re-learn their own driving style.
People who tried this said this works with all MB or most MB, so I tried it with my W204.
After the reset, I felt the car drives like when I first got it, throttle response is much better too, and the RPM shift points raise from 3000rpm to around 3500rpm-4000rpm, feel more power than before and no more lag.
Basically this is like reset the ECU and let it re-learn your driving style, I think people should do this reset after their break-in period, and they should be able to tell the differece.
I did my reset last night after my 1700 miles break-in period and the car feels like new again!
